Minute Masterclass Episode 25

Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance. Today we’re discussing a tool that will help keep your little ones physically distant from their friends, challenge their developing skills, and spark their creativity…and yours, in ways we never imagined! That tool is the DiscoverDance Double Dance Box.

To create this double dance box you will need five different colors of floor tape. First you create the big box, the size of this box can be anywhere from 6-10 ft*. The important thing to remember is that no matter where the dancers are in the box, they always need to be a safe physical distance from their friends. You will need to space the boxes out appropriately or use every other box if you are taping them side by side. *Check with your local law requirements for more information.

Each side of the box gets a different color and every box is taped the same, meaning the stage right line is red for all boxes, stage left is yellow for all and so forth. Next, in the center of the box create a 1ft by 1ft box for self-space use. Lasty, use a sharpie to number the corners of the big box. For more information, please visit DiscoverDance.com.
