Minute Masterclass Episode 32

Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance. Remember that our new expectation for virtual teaching is connection. This is why I highly recommend you connect with your dance families on a weekly basis, outside of class. Consider sending a weekly class connection email to your families. 

In this email, review the activities and class objectives from the week. Include a coloring page for your students and tell them they can show it to their friends during the next class if they wish. Add a link to an action song that continues the exploration of class objectives, so your students and families can continue the fun at home. 

Lastly, consider sending a special note or video from the teacher and include a fun activity you will be doing next week in class. Giving them something to look forward to will excite them and have them asking our favorite question, “Is it dance day yet?”. For more information, visit DiscoverDance.com.
