Minute Masterclass Episode 28

Welcome to your one-minute master class. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance. In addition to the disposable props we discussed in episode 27, you can create personal prop kits* for each of your dancers. They bring these to class each week with them in their dance bag. Each kit should include a balancing prop such as a bean bag, a solo prop like a scarf or ribbon rings, and musical props such as shaker eggs or rhythm sticks. If you decide to create these on your own, order all of the props, divide into Ziplock bags with sanitizing instructions and instruct dancers to keep them in their dance bags. If you’d like to let someone else do all the work, you’re in luck!

DiscoverDance is partnering up with Bear Paw Creek to bring you customizable personal prop kits* with bulk order discounts. The premium kit includes 2 scarves, 2 ribbon rings, 2 bean bags, 2 shaker eggs, a set of rhythm sticks, and sanitizing instructions…with a bag large enough to accommodate dance shoes as well. You also have the option to create your own personal prop kit based on the needs of your studio. You can choose to offer these as an incentive to register, include in your registration price, or sell to your dance families for additional revenue. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming product launch date! For more information, visit DiscoverDance.com.
