Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance and creator of the Foundations Course for Early Childhood Dance Educators and the DiscoverDance Experience Membership. Today we are talking about… setting expectations. When we create a culture of community and working together for the betterment of the child, we set the clear expectation that in order for all of this to work, we need everyone on the same page. This means we have a supportive administrative staff that creates a customer flow that gets them through the door. We have teachers who understand child development and are able and willing to work WITH the child’s caregiver. We have caregivers who know and understand the expectations set forth in order for their child to have a successful dance education experience at our studio. And, most importantly, we have a child who feels loved, safe, and excited for this adventure. They may not know or see the work everyone is putting in for them, but they feel it.
