Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance and creator of the Foundations Course for Early Childhood Dance Educators and the DiscoverDance Experience Membership. Now that we have our DiscoverDance 5-Station Obstacle Course set up and our dancers have gone through the course several times, let’s talk about how to clean up the obstacle course.

 I always follow the last dancer when they have started the obstacle course for the final time. I pick up the props behind them as they continue through the course. Another option would be to keep enough props out for each dancer so they can clean up and put the props away when the final dancer has completed their turn. Remember, to have a designated space for the dancers to wait after they finished their turn. To keep them engaged in the learning, ask them what their favorite part of the course was that day.
