Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. Today, we’re going inside Module 3 of the Foundations Course: Our Systems. The systems I share in this module have two purposes, really. One, is to teach the class. The other is to manage the class, so we can teach the class. These systems and frameworks are the backbone of the DiscoverDance lesson plans. Lesson 1 is our classroom management systems. We dive into seven different classroom management considerations and share how we integrate these considerations into our classroom systems for better ease and flow. Lesson 2 introduces you to our unique DiscoverDance lesson plan framework. We refer back to our guides from module 1 and show you how they are integrated into each and every lesson we create. Lessons 3-6 of this module breaks down each section of our lesson plan framework. Lesson 3 is all about our warm up systems. Lesson 4 shares how we introduce and explore the concept of the day. Lesson 5 breaks down our developing skills portion of class. And, lesson 6 shares our three Rs (Rest, Review, Reflect) portion of class. This module is jam packed with everything you need to know about the methodology behind our lesson plans.
