Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance and creator of the Foundations Course for Early Childhood Dance Educators and the DiscoverDance Experience Membership. 

Today, we’re going inside Module 4 of the Foundations Course: Our Approach. This module is bringing everything together we have learned so far in the Foundations Course. I take you inside the DiscoverDance Experience, so you can experience our approach to Early Childhood Dance Education. Each lesson in this module is a peek into one of our curriculums. You will have access to a lesson plan, obstacle course layout, spotify playlist, videos of activities, concept visuals, and concept coloring pages or vocabulary coloring pages. As you work through each curriculum, you will see our guide, our goals, and our systems throughout the stages of development and styles of dance. Lesson 1 is a Stage 1 DiscoverDance lesson. This is our caregiver and tot stage of development. Lesson 2 is a Stage 2 DiscoverDance lesson. This is our independent two-year-old stage of development. Lesson 3 takes you inside a Stage 3/4 DiscoverACRO lesson, which is our preschool stage of development. And Lesson 4 takes you inside a Stage 4 DiscoverCOMBO (Tap/Ballet) lesson. This is a 45-minute class for ages 4-5 or 6 depending on your students.
