Welcome to your one-minute masterclass. I’m Andrea Trench, founder of DiscoverDance and creator of the Foundations Course for Early Childhood Dance Educators and the DiscoverDance Experience Membership. 

Today, we’re going inside Module 5 of the Foundations Course: Our Classes. Each lesson takes you into a live DiscoverDance class. You will see our guide, our goals, our systems, and our approach in action with real students. Best of all, each class is a different stage of development, concept of dance, and teacher. Our goal is to equip you with the resources, knowledge, and confidence to create your own amazing program. We want you to take what you learn in this course and make it your own. That’s why we share four different teacher approaches inside the classroom. Some of these teachers are using our done-for-you lesson plans and some have used our curriculum lab to build their own lesson plans. Some of them are in the beginning of the season where they have newer dancers still learning the routine of class and some are finishing their season and working on their performance choreography. You’ll see a wide range throughout the lessons.
